Get Paid Per Article - Demand Studios

I have been researching through reading various websites about Demand Studios "pay per article" program.  Everyone seems to have their own opinion.  However, I am still on the fence about this one.  I would like to say that my hope is to go back to writing for them....assuming that option/writing position is still available to me. :)

Over the past year or two, my article earnings have increased from work that I did when I was freelancing how-to articles for the Ehow website.  And, I wrote those articles a couple of years ago!  It is great to have that kind of extra residual income...especially in today's economy.  I have revisited the site more often over the last couple of weeks reading the Ehow forums in hopes of understanding more about what Demand Studios is looking for in writers and what the new type of work entails.  My biggest curiosities were the following:

1.) Is the writing content  or style different from what writers on Ehow originally wrote?
2.) Is it easier or more difficult to have an article approved than it was in the past?
3.) Is the pay better or faster than it was on Ehow.  (i.e., every month or every week)?
4.) Is a specific number of minimum hours or articles required to be a writer for Demand Studios?

My understanding is that Demand Studios gives you approximately 7 days to write an article on a chosen topic withing one of their approved categories (i.e., business, health, etc.).  One person reported to me that Demand studios pays $15 for a 500 word article.  That is pretty good!  Think about it.  If a person can write 2 clean and quick articles in 1 hour...that is over $30 for just one hour.  I went to college and received a bachelor's degree in psychology and my first professional job working for the State of Tennessee was only about $18 and hour.  And, we had to be there from at least 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.  Am sure there is more flexibility with Demand Studios.  And, let's face it...most of us love working from home in our pajamas (lol).

The verdict is still out, as I suppose I never jump in the water without first putting my hand in to test it. :)
But...I must say that $15 an article sounds very good and dependable to me.  Knowing what you will make makes it easier to budget and make a dependable living.  If one thinks about another thing....there is a great advantage to knowing that your article will make a set amount vs. the unknown.

I am looking for feedback on this post in particular.  So, if you currently write for the new (to me) Demand Studios/Demand Media content provider...please let me and others know about your experiences.  I would appreciate it...and am sure my readers would too.  Thanks in advance!   Jamie

How to Increase EHow Monthly Earnings/Profits

I have been thinking a lot lately about what the TOP REASONS why my profits have increased on my EHow articles are...especially since I haven't written any new ones in a long while.  So, in order to help others who are also wanting to see the same positive increase in cash flow...I will share my ideas.

My 3 Weekly Tips to Writing Articles that Make Money

1.)  Supply and Demand - Write EHow articles that are in demand, that is...people want to read (i.e., weight loss, technology, etc.).  At the same time, keep in mind that if there are "too many" articles on that particular subject and your topic is too broad...you may unknowingly be decreasing your chances at being successful in your attempts.  Let me give you an example.  Instead of writing a common article on say "Staying on a Diet" perhaps you could write one on how to do a "7-Day Juice Fast".  Do you see how there is a big difference between these two titles?  This is a GREAT way to increase your EHow earnings.

2.)  Keywords - Make sure to use key words in your article.  If you are writing about Buying an Ipod Touch, than be sure to say "Ipod Touch" or perhaps "Fourth Generation Apple" a few times withing your Ehow piece.  It s my understanding that doing this helps Google and other search engines shuffle through the many places that have written on similar pieces and can more easily find yours this way.

3.)  Submit your articles to Search Engines - if you submit your articles or blog to search engines, you should see an increase in your EHow monthly earnings.  If you make Google aware of your article, by submitting it to them, that is a first step.  This can give you more article views which can lead to more cash in your pocket. Try it on a few....if you want to test the water and watch money roll at a more steady pace.

***Well, that's it, for this post.  But, keep checking back in with this blog...as I plan on giving you 3 New Tips Each Week to see an Increase in your EHow Monthly Earnings.   See you soon!!!***

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO TO ARGOSY NASHVILLE - MY EXPERIENCE - READ HERE - COLLEGE MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN

Hi Everyone...
Since this blog is about how to freelance and make money via writing EHow articles....I will try to stay on topic.  However, I DO want you to ALWAYS save money and this tip should be included to help you in that pursuit.  Please reasearch the college you wish to attend, as I recently wasted about 60,000 on a Master's Degree because of Argosy Nashville and their unethical practices and now I do not even have a degree to show for it.  I wrote this...below is a link if you'd like to understand more about my story and prevent this from happening to you or your loved ones.  See you all later!

Back to Arranging Things on My Blog - New Year's Resolutions

Well, first I would like to introduce myself as Jamie (an Ehow writer) who freelance writes for extra cash that is deposited each month. My numbers are going up and right now I am averaging about $45-$50 a month, for doing nothing. I wrote the articles a couple of years ago...and this residual income is nice. Now...I just need to learn more SEO tricks to get my articles more views, which in turn equals more hits...which in turn equals more clicks...which well, you get it...equals more cash in my pocket. My goal is to start making about $200-$400 a month from people just finding my EHow articles via Google and other places...and then add more from there.

So far, it has definitely been worth the time and energy to do what I like anyway (which is write)...and make some side money! But I will say that I can't wait till the day till I can pay my rent from pieces I wrote years ago...which I have to say, is sweeeeetttt.

I hope you all will take some time to read the articles...at least the ones which interest you the most and learn something new or that it will provoke a thought in your mind. :) Let me know if there is something in particular that you'd like to write about. And, if you look to the right and bottom of this page...you will see some pics and links of my most popular articles of the masses.

Side note: Recently, I checked my Ehow page views for my 32 articles and found that I already have over 63,000 views and growing everyday! Thanks to all my avid readers and passers-by.

Make Extra Cash Writing Articles on EHow

Hello My Friends and Readers,

I recently joined EHow a couple of weeks ago. For the past two months I had been looking for a part-time job that I could do to make a little money. Then, by luck (or God) I came across the EHow site!!!

Am only making a few cents per article (depending on number of views)...but a few cents can add up quickly in the Internet world. I don't get any referral points or commission for referring anyone. Luckily, it doesn't work that way. It is solely based on your writing skills, page views of others, time you invest, and resourcefulness.

Most people make $100-$200 per month after a few months. I have met a few people that make $2,000-$3,000 a month...but that takes a lot of dedication. I am hoping to continue publishing new articles and increase my Internet traffic.

I will attach a box-link to this page. This will allow you to view my EHow public articles. Then you can just click on the articles you choose to read. Please check out my site and writings and tell me what you think. You can leave me a comment about your opinions/thoughts. Who knows, you may even decide to join too?!?

Thanks for reading and have a blessed day!!!
